My Workout: I usually get some form of exercise 3-4 days a week. After work is often the most convenient time for me. I do a lot of walking around the neighborhood near my house. I also like to incorporate indoor swimming, especially when the weather is not great for outdoor activities. I've really noticed a difference in my physique when I swim laps with the kickboard. It's not an easy exercise, but it's definitely fun!
My Diet: I eat 3 meals and two small snacks a day. I always have a salad for lunch and yogurt for a snack at some point during the day. I also enjoy fruit as a snack. My snacks are usually around 100 calories. For example, if I bring in a 100-calorie snack pack, I only bring ONE! I figure, if you only bring one, you can only eat one! Everything else is always in small portions, except water...I do drink plenty of water.
My Secrets: I really believe in moderation. Like with the snacks, I don't stock up on junk food in the house, because if it's not there, then I can't eat it. It's a lot easier to live a healthy lifestyle if you keep a healthy environment for yourself.
